Most of you will remember Tash Bonniface from my last post (check it out here), and I am over the moon to announce that I had the chance to interview her! She is so kind and lovely and I hope you all enjoy this little interview.
I am... Tash Bonniface
I admire... Anyone who is living life the way they want to and completely being themselves and living happily, I completely admire people who live against the rules of society and live a happy free life, dressing, thinking and acting the way they want to!
I am obsessed with... Shopping. I love shopping so much, retail therapy literally can make my whole day. I don't know if this is sad or not but oh well, I love getting new things.
In 5 years time... I hope to be doing something in the fashion industry and working and living in Sydney, I hope to be working in something that makes me happy and is an enjoyable job I'm passionate about.
I started blogging because... I have so many outfits I want to share with the world! I have always put outfits together that I personally love but I wanted others to see them and I wanted to inspire others with my outfits, to dress how they want and step away from the crowd to be themselves. I wanted to be a blogger that wasn't your typical blogger, I wanted to make a blog that was fun and youthful and made others happy.
The thing I love most about blogging is... Expressing my style. I live in a small country and I want more people all over the world to see what I have to offer through my style and personality, I want people to see my outfits and my expression through my style and be inspired to go make an outfit they never would of thought of wearing before!
In high school... I was always prone to following the crowd, I had no head of my own, if she's doing that then I'm doing that too. Not just with general choices but with my fashion taste too. 14 year old me used to beg my mum for a $300 sass and bide designer dress, for what reason? To wear it once, probably. I was a 14 year old who wanted to fit in the crowd and buy the expensive clothes my friends were wearing, just to fit in. I have grown up a lot since my high school days!
Fashion is... An art. It's not easy. It's not waking up and putting on whatever you first see in your closet. It's not going shopping. It's something to be passionate about. It's something that not everyone is good at. It's a form of art and a form of expressing yourself.
The things that make me smile... Fashion! People who are able to express themselves, people with glistening personalities, puppies (irrelevant, but who doesn't love puppies?), friends, family, having baths, reading magazines, going shopping, eating!
My happy place is... My bed! I love coming home after a long day at fashion school, the gym, work experience or just a day out with friends and crawling into bed. The best feeling ever!
